I have worked across the allied health services for over 30 years with children, parents, youth- education, youth justice, out of home care, all- abilities/ disability, mental health, homelessness, addictions recovery, domestic family violence & sexual assault, CALD communities, sexuality & relationships, & families.
These days, I'm passionate about taking Learning, Growth & Healing practices outside 'the four walls.'
Over 5 years experience as a sessional Uni Lecturer within the field of Social Sciences- Counselling Skills, Trauma, Working with Children & Youth, Australian Identity, Case Management & more.
Professional Qualifications- Bachelor in Applied Social Sciences- Counselling; Mental Health, with professional registration to the appropriate Counselling governing bodies- PACFA & CCAA.
Additional Specialist Training as Equine, Animal & Nature- Based Practitioner with Equine Supported Programs (ESP). Post Graduate in Mindfulness Rooted Eco-Therapies with Roots & Wings & Therapeutic Horticulture Ally with Root in Nature with memberships to the appropriate Animal & Nature- based governing bodies- Animal Therapies Limited & Outdoor Health Australia.
